Justitoys World Smallest Transformers Dinobots

With the anticipation of the new transformers movie, Transformers : Age of Extinction, and the recently launched toys from the movie, there has been a mini transformers craze happening.
One reason that is getting people excited  is that the popular Dinobots will be making their appearance on the big screen.
I personally do not like design of the transformers from all the movies...heck I don't even like the transformers movies but I do like G1 transformers and I like the Dinobots even more, hence I thought I would review my G1 Dinobots.
Ok...I must admit I don't have the original G1 Dinobots to review but I will be reviewing Justitoys World Smallest Transformers (WST) Dinobots (metallic finish).
Justitoys is a Hong Kong-based third party Transformers toy company which has done some pretty cool WST.
Takara Tomy came out with the official WST toys but even though JustiToys versions are considered non official or knockoffs, they do have good quality and standards. Their pricing though is not knockoff pricing.

Justitoys sold their standard Dinobots in individual packs but I managed to get the set with the metallic finish. On the packaging it said this was limited to 888 pieces but I will take it with a pinch of salt.
The packaging is colorful and has a lot of things going for it. I like the art of the front and the back of the packaging.

Justitoys WST Dinobots are larger and more complex as compared to the offical Takara WST.
I guess this allow Justitoys to add more details to them.
I am really pleased that I got the metallic finish as it really enhances the figures. However do be careful as the paint is easily scratched when transforming.

The Dinobots' accessories are nicely packed in small transparent plastic bags and I really like the swords that come with the figures.
You also get the stickers but since they are so small I decided to save myself the grief of putting the stickers on.
There are also instructions manuals and bio cards.

Overall, these are really cool WST.
They look like the originals and transformation is easy given the size.
Simply amazing engineering.

Grimlock

Grimlock is the leader of the Dinobots given he is the most fearsome and powerful member.
Grimlock is among the strongest of the Transformers, possibly an equal to, or even superior to Optimus Prime.
He transforms to a Tyrannosaurus Rex (a fitting dinosaur).
He wields an energon sword.

Grimlock's motto: "Among the winners, there is no room for the weak."

Snarl

Snarl is also known as the desert warrior given that his large golden plates protruding from his spinal assembly are solar collectors. Solar energy can increase his strength tenfold and his endurance to a limitless degree. This gives him an advantage fighting in sunny and arid environments.
He transforms into a Stegosaurus.

Snarl's motto : "Only in war is there happiness."

The metallic gold and red go so well together.

Slag

Slag is very tough, strong and possesses impressive firepower.
In his dinosaur mode, Slag can spew from his mouth a bolt of 3,000 degree celsius flame up to 80 feet, hence the nickname flamethrower.
He is the second in charge of the Dinobots.
His dinosaur mode is the Triceratops.

Slag's motto : "I have no need for friends, even less for enemies."

Sludge

Sludge is also known as the jungle warrior.
His dinosaur mode is the Apatosaurus.
Like his alternative mode, Sludge is a slow witted but powerful Dinobot.
Sludge can shoot laser beams from his eyes and an energy weapon from his mouth.

Sludge's motto : "Stomp your ememy, crush him under your feet."

Apatosaurus mode.

Swoop
For obvious reasons, Swoop is also known as Bombardier.
Swoop alternative mode is a Pterandon and he can fly up to 250 mph and is armed with air-to-air missile launchers under each wing.
He is gentle and good-natured but his greatest weakness is his fragile wings which are vulnerable to enemy firepower.

He has the dubious honor to be named the 2nd "shittiest" Transformers disguise by Cracked magazine...come on he is not that bad.

Swoop's motto : "Fear can hit targets unreachable to bullets."
